When it comes to stylish women’s jackets, sleeve and hem lengths vary wildly, so the best metric for finding your fit is by measuring your shoulders. Generally, if a jacket fits at the shoulders, the rest of it will also drape in a flattering way.

To find out if your stylish jacket from Crescent fits, try it on and check where the shoulder seams sit on your body. If they fall right at the joint where your arm connects to your body, you’ve found the right fit.

Another place to check is the sleeve length. Does the end of a full-length sleeve fall between your wrist and the first knuckle on your thumb? Then it fits you just right. Finally, you should check to make sure that the jacket zips, buttons, or otherwise closes comfortably at the widest part of your body. If it fits around your butt and hips, this is the right size (doesn’t apply to cropped, oversized, or moto jackets).
